Covid-19 Safety Procedures

If you would like to view our wheelchair accessible vehicles online for the time being, we are offering 1-2-1 virtual demonstrations. You can chat live via a video call with one of our Mobility Specialists who will answer all of the questions you may have. We will then demonstrate the vehicle to you, showing you all of the conversion benefits and manufacturer features and options.  If you would like to arrange a suitable time, please email sales@sirusautomotive.co.uk or call 0121 505 7777.  We will send you a link to your email which will connect you to our team.

• Before your demonstration, we will call you to record as much information as possible to limit the time we are with you.
• The day before your demonstration we will ask if you have had any Coronavirus symptoms in the last seven days or have been in contact with anyone who is displaying symptoms in the last 14 days. If so, we will happily rearrange the demonstration for another time.
• You will be given the telephone number of the Mobility Specialist visiting you should you have any questions before or after the demonstration.

• Upon arrival at your home, we will not come to the door, we will call you to let you know we have arrived.
• We will not shake your hand. Please do not think we are being rude, we would love to give you our usual warm greeting!
• Before each home demonstration, the vehicle will be fully valeted and sanitised throughout at our premises paying close attention to the steering wheel, door handles seat adjuster and driving controls. Upon arrival, the vehicle will be sanitised again using anti-bacterial wipes.
• Our Mobility Specialist will wear PPE which includes disposable masks/face shield and gloves. We would ask that you also wear gloves, a face mask/shield and also keep your arms and legs covered. We are happy to provide you with PPE if you don’t have it and we will dispose of this safely after the demonstration.
• During the demonstration, we will show you all of the features of the vehicle we can from outside the vehicle whilst maintaining 1m+ distance.

• If you are having a test drive, we ask that you send us a copy of your driving licence. This should be sent digitally via email or WhatsApp the day before the demonstration.
• It is compulsory that our Mobility Specialist accompanies you on your test drive therefore it is compulsory for both of you to wear a face mask/shield and gloves whilst in the vehicle and have your arms and legs covered.
• We will ask you if you need anyone else to travel with you in the vehicle during your test drive. We would encourage you to carry out the test drive on your own where possible.
• Before your test drive, we will attach wheelchair restraints. We can do this safely if all parties are wearing a face mask/shield and gloves.
• Weather permitting, we will leave the windows down and will not be using the air conditioning.

• After your test drive, we will complete all of the paperwork on your behalf. At this stage, we would usually come into your house to do this, but this will not be necessary.
• You will not be asked to sign any paperwork, if you would like to place an order, we will email you a DocuSign. further questions and requirements can be discussed with our Mobility Specialist by telephone.

 All of our team will follow the same safety procedures as above. When our Service Engineers arrive, you do not have to come out of the house, all you have to do is post your keys through your letterbox.  We will fully sanitise the vehicle after use including your keys and post them back through your door. Again, you will not be asked to sign any paperwork, one of our Aftersales Advisors will call you to give you any details and let you know if there is any further work to be done.

Your vehicle will be fully valeted and sanitised at our premises paying close attention to the steering wheel, door handles seat adjuster, driving controls, mirrors and any other areas commonly touched.

We will follow the same safety procedure as our demonstrations as described above. We will show you all of the conversion features we can from outside the vehicle whilst maintaining 1m+ distance. You are more than welcome to have a test drive following our demonstration procedures above, or use the vehicle features such as the access control system, wheelchair lockdown system etc. whilst we are present.

Before we hand over the vehicle to you, we will wipe down all of the main touchpoints of the vehicle and the keys with anti-bacterial wipes.
