“My name is Mike, I’m 43 years old and I have been with Sirus since October this year. Pretty much all of my working life I’ve been involved in customer service roles, both face to face and in support centres. It’s something that I am passionate about and it’s great to be involved with a company that shares my passion for giving the best possible customer service we can. Previous to Sirus I worked at the RAC for 14 years with the last three years as a Contractor Performance Manager which involved managing external contractors. Previous to the RAC I worked in retail management.
My role at Sirus is Aftersales Team Leader and I work within a team of ten. Being part of the aftersales team gives us the chance to provide excellent service to our customers and to develop and maintain very strong relationships with each and every individual. I’ve been fortunate enough to join Sirus with a great team who all know their roles inside out which makes my job a lot easier! They all go that extra mile to help each individual customer and have worked with some customers for many years, and that is why so many customers stay with Sirus.
I’m really enjoying working at Sirus. I’ve still got so much to learn but I know I’m in the right environment and have the right people to help me do so. I had a really good feeling about the business in my first interview! I know its early days but I hope to continue here for many years, Sirus is a business that provides something very special – an invaluable product and service which helps the people that need us, which is really rewarding.
