At Sirus Mobility, every team member plays a vital role in delivering high-quality wheelchair accessible vehicles (WAVs) and Drive From Wheelchair solutions. Today, we’re introducing Richard, our Senior Buyer, who joined the team last June. 

What does a Senior Buyer do at Sirus Mobility? 

Richard ensures that all production parts are available on time for build slots, at the right cost and quality. He also manages the store’s team and oversees the supply chain to keep our busy schedule running smoothly. Collaboration is key, and Richard works closely with sales, planning, production, and finance teams to make sure everything aligns perfectly. 

Richard’s experience in the automotive industry 

With nearly 30 years of experience in purchasing and procurement, Richard has worked across technical and engineering roles within the automotive sector, sourcing parts both nationally and internationally. This extensive background has given him a deep understanding of different methods and cultures, adding valuable insight to his role at Sirus.
