Marketing Executive
We are looking for a Marketing Executive to join our busy sales office.
Main responsibilities:
- Contribute to activities involved in the delivery of our multi-channel marketing strategy
- Write content for on and offline sources, including website, blogs, eShots, trade adverts, direct mail, signage, videos and other media
- Developing social media strategies with the aim of increasing brand awareness and customer engagement
- Manage and implement content on social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Creating captivating content across each brand’s social media presence, including appropriate branding, graphics, images, and video content
- Devising and implementing appropriate content calendars for organic and paid social activity
- Create, optimise and track success of social paid ads
- Ensuring accuracy in all social communication and alignment with each brand’s market positioning, commercial objectives, and tone of voice
- Setting up and managing influencer partnerships, including researching relevant influencers, agreeing promotions, and evaluating effectiveness
- Planning and implementing communications for competitions, events, and other promotional initiatives on social media
- Furthering community engagement by monitoring and responding to customer feedback, comments, and posts
- Staying up to date with the latest social media trends and digital technologies
- Liaising with other departments and creatives to ensure a holistic and effective social media strategy.
- Manage, grow, and utilise customer and prospect data via brand email campaigns
- Setting measurable goals for campaigns, monitoring engagement and evidencing return on investment.
- Manage the design and production of promotional materials such as web and social media campaigns, email campaigns and product collateral
- Manage web presence including product updates, new information and search marketing analysis
- Work with external SEO consultant to understand and maximise best practice for web content and utilise internal software to improve rankings and customer UX
- Support promotion of and attend events throughout the UK
- Plan and execute photography and video content including product coverage and customer testimonials
- Tender, negotiate and manage external suppliers including printers, photographers, videographers, merchandise suppliers and data providers in order to achieve best value and service for the company
- Identify appropriate PR opportunities and secure positive editorial coverage in relevant digital and print media
- Monitor performance of marketing campaigns and assist with reporting on marketing activities for brand reviews
- Conduct market, client and competitor research to support our sales and marketing strategy and business goals
- Work as an effective team member, contributing to the overall efforts of the department
- Assist with other aspects of marketing and communications across the business
- Raise the profile of the Sirus brand within the industry. Set up partnerships and referral schemes with mobility companies in our industry
- Develop database of businesses to include Driving Assessment Centres, Mobility Shops for direct marketing and On site visit opportunities
- Review industry events to increase the Sirus brand name – i.e. occupational therapists, case managers, relevant charities.
- Perform any other duties consistent with this job description, as and when required
Experience / Competencies:
- Working knowledge of WordPress
- Good working knowledge of managing social media campaigns – paid and organic
- Basic graphic design skills an advantage (using Canva or similar software)
- Working knowledge of Mailchimp (or similar platform)
- Good written English
- Knowledge of On page SEO an advantage but not essential
- An approachable manner to be able to interview customers and work closely with the sales team
- Good level of photography an advantage, but not essential
- Minimum 2 years marketing industry experience
