Customer receives award from HRH

“I set up Assisted Mobility Services Ltd in June 2017. We provide transportation with support for hospitals visits, appointments, shopping trips, days out, leisure activities and more. We can even cater for our customers dogs! We help many customers who are vulnerable, many who haven’t been out for years, and find it almost impossible to get out of the house. Its fantastic to see people regain independence and freedom, as well as removing feelings of isolation and loneliness.

I was looking for a specific wheelchair accessible vehicle, and from searching online I found the Sirus wheelchair accessible vehicle, the Kia Soul where the wheelchair user sits in the back. It was really modern, which is exactly what I was looking for. One of the Mobility Advisors brought the demonstration mobility vehicle out to me for a test drive, and as soon as I saw it I knew that it was the one! It’s perfect for our needs, and I really don’t want any other accessible car! Also the Sirus service has been fabulous, I really can’t fault it. The customer service team in the office is great and the engineers who come out to us if we have a problem provide an excellent service.

I’m delighted to say in just a matter of months we have won 2 awards. In September we won the Entrepreneur of the Year Award at the Bridgend Business Forum Awards, and in July we also won the PRIME Cymru 2018 Business Growth Award. We were presented the award by HRH Prince of Wales who loved the Sirus vehicle and said he thought it was ‘brilliant’!
