Buying an Approved Used WAV from Sirus

Buying a used wheelchair accessible vehicles from Sirus couldn’t be easier – and here’s why:

  • We are an Approved RAC Dealer, which means that all of our Approved Used WAVs go through a rigorous RAC approved 82-point checklist before they are released for sale.
  • We offer free home demonstrations and free delivery nationwide.
  • Our Approved Used Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles are available in just 1-2 weeks (depending on the adaptations required).
  • You’ll benefit from Sirus conversion service & final quality checks*.
  • All of our Approved Used WAV come with an MOT Certificate (12 months)
  • Vehicle History Check (to determine the number of previous owners, any past issues with the vehicle or any prior accidents).
  • Up to £500 towards your first years insurance from specialist WAV insurance provider, Fish Insurance (available on selected WAVs)
  • 2-3-year RAC Warranty*.
  • 1-year FREE RAC Breakdown Cover (roadside, recovery, at home) that offers peace of mind when you’re out and about.
  • RAC Accident Care (for the duration of your breakdown cover).

Drive from wheelchair

  • Sirus VW Caddy Drive From Wheelchair – The Caddy Drive enables you to drive from the comfort of your wheelchair eliminating the need for strenuous transfer. The fully automated rear access control system ensures you don’t need assistance to enjoy the freedom that motoring brings.
  • Sirus Ford Drive From Wheelchair / Upfront Passenger – Our drive from wheelchair/upfront passenger conversion is designed to give you total flexibility. The side access design enables you to drive from your wheelchair or travel upfront as a passenger, with the option to switch places at any time.

Rear passenger

  • Sirus Kia Soul Rear Seated Passenger – Our unique rear wheelchair passenger conversion is based on the highly acclaimed family car, the Kia Soul. The ideal seating configuration for the family, the wheelchair user sits alongside the other rear passenger.
  • Sirus Dacia Jogger Rear Seated Passenger  – Our unique rear wheelchair passenger conversion is based on the highly acclaimed family car, the Dacia Jogger. Space for six people (five plus wheelchair).

Internal transfer

  • Sirus VW Caddy Internal Transfer – The Sirus VW Internal Transfer WAV is designed to enable you to transfer from your wheelchair to a standard driver’s seat. The fully automated rear access control system ensures you don’t need assistance to enjoy the freedom that motoring brings.

Wheelchair passenger upfront

  • Sirus VW Upfront Passenger – Travel upfront next to the driver in your wheelchair and enjoy the ride. Enter and exit from the rear.
  • Sirus Ford Upfront Passenger – The Sirus Ford Upfront is designed to enable you to travel upfront as a passenger from the comfort of your wheelchair. Side entry – ideal for on-street parking and space for five people as standard.
  • Sirus Ford Drive From Wheelchair / Upfront Passenger – Our drive from wheelchair/upfront passenger conversion is designed to give you total flexibility. The side access design enables you to drive from your wheelchair or travel upfront as a passenger, with the option to switch places at any time.

*Terms and Conditions:

  • RAC 82 Point Check is only applicable if the vehicle has less than 2 years on manufacturer’s warranty.
  • Sirus conversion service is carried out if required, depending on the age of the vehicle or date of the last service.
  • Two Sirus annual services are included in years 2 and 3 from when the vehicle was completed.
  • 2-3 year service depending on age of car.
  • Fish applicable on specific vehicles only.
