Dacia Jogger Wins Auto Express Family Car of the Year 2022

Sirus Automotive are now offering a rear passenger Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle based on the Dacia Jogger. Unlike most Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles, this conversion is based on an award winning family car.

The highly acclaimed car has won multiple awards so far this year including Auto Express Family Car of the Year, Motor Awards Value Car of the Year and the overall winner of AA Ireland.

“Following years of car manufacturers sticking to a tried and tested family-car formula, the Jogger has come along and transformed the category in one huge step. It’s not often that a new car takes us by surprise – when something we’ve seen on the horizon perhaps intrigues, or delights, or (occasionally) disappoints in a way we weren’t expecting. But in the case of the all new Dacia Jogger, we’re almost lost for words.

Unrivalled versatility

The roomiest model from the value-focused brand is robustly built, good to drive and packed with all the kit you’ll ever need. Based on a stretched version of the CMF-B platform that also underpins the supermini class-winning Renault Clio, the Jogger offers unrivalled versatility.

Useful Tech and Infotainment

The Jogger feels like it’s been designed from the inside out and with family life front and centre. There are large windows that give a great view out. It’s also robustly built, user-friendly and features plenty of useful tech, including an easy-to-use touchscreen infotainment set-up. Light controls and soft suspension mean that the Dacia offers an easy-going and relaxing drive. Yet it also feels composed and sharp enough in corners, while the thrummy three-cylinder petrol motor is a perky and efficient performer.

Choose Your Trim

There’s just a single engine option; a 108bhp 1.0-litre, three-cylinder petrol unit mated to a six-speed manual transmission, while the three available trim levels underline the simplicity of the range. The entry-level Essential includes rear parking sensors, cruise control, air-conditioning, a DAB radio and Bluetooth, but we’d recommend upgrading to the mid-range Expression trim which adds useful modular roof bars, electrically-adjustable door mirrors, front parking sensors, climate control and an 8-inch media touchscreen.
