“Having an upfront wheelchair accessible vehicle is so much better because you want to see where you are going when you are driving along, have a chat with the driver and your friends or have a sing-along! It’s just much better than being stuck in the back of a vehicle really.
Space for five in my VW
In my Sirus VW Upfront there is enough space for me, the driver, a seat behind the driver, and Sirus also fitted two fold-down seats in the back of the car so if my friends or family members want to come out with me we can all fit in easily.
Travelling Around in my Upfront Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle
I travel quite a lot for powerchair football so I have to take my sports chair, my everyday chair which both fit in the car comfortably and I also have enough room for other stuff like my luggage, hoist and my shower chair if I’m going away for the weekend. I don’t need anything bigger, its great for me and my friends and its great on fuel and more than big enough for what I need.
I’ve been a Sirus customer now for eight years and this is the second VW Upfront wheelchair accessible vehicle they have converted for me. The service has always been really good, and they are happy to help if I have any issues. They are just a phone call away and the service guys will come out to my house to fix the problem. They are really helpful and can’t do enough for us”.
