“We are proud to be training and mentoring young people within the West Midlands”
West Midlands based Sirus Automotive is celebrating 15 years in business. Simon Alleman is our Production Manager and has been with Sirus for almost 15 years and tells us about the build quality of the vehicle conversions, the knowledge and experience of our engineers and the successful apprentice scheme Sirus runs through Sandwell College, now in its fifth year.
“Watching Sirus grow over the years has been fabulous and knowing I have been able to contribute to helping so many customers gives me a huge amount of job satisfaction. What we do here is give people independence and I love meeting customers and seeing their face when their vehicle is ready to go.
Build Quality
We take a huge amount of pride in the quality of our conversions. Our build quality is exceptional and our conversions are designed to integrate with the original vehicle. We carefully select high-quality materials to give our conversions a superior finish.
R&D
We have an in-house Research and Development team who continually work to refine our existing product range whilst working on a continual new product development programme. Innovation has always been a big part of our culture at Sirus. Being based in the West Midlands, we are part of a thriving manufacturing region and many of our suppliers are based locally.
Innovative Solutions and Bespoke Adaptations
Our car adaptations service is exceptional, and we enjoy a challenge! With the skill set of the engineers we have, there isn’t much we can’t do, and we always seem to find the right solution. Our highly skilled adaptations engineers have many years of experience and come up with such amazing solutions for our customers which are completely bespoke to their requirements.
Apprentice Scheme
Through our apprenticeship scheme, we are training and developing young people to give them a wide variety of skills in the automotive sector and we are proud of the fact we can train young people in our region. We have worked with West Midlands based Sandwell College and Sandwell Council for five years now and currently have seven apprentices working with us in the production team. Earlier this year we were named Made in Sandwell’s Monday Company of the Week which is a celebration of the borough’s talent.
We look forward to the future and helping even more people gain independence”.
Sandwell College Apprenticeships Star Awards 2020
We’ve had the fantastic news that one of our apprentices’ Kieron Conroy has been nominated for a Sandwell College Apprenticeships Star Award. Held on 6th February, we’d like to congratulate Kieron and wish him all the best of luck. 👏 Our apprentice programme continues to grow as we move into our 7th year.
